Passionate and well trained tutors
Once upon a time .....

40 years ago in a city called Fes, in the heart of Morocco  I started helping friends who were struggling with their second language, then progressed to tutoring both individuals and small groups, beginners to advanced speakers. I then went on to pursue my passion of teaching in a number of countries.

Since I settled in Australia 30 years ago, I have been blessed with 5 wonderful children with who I share my passion for languages. I have had the pleasure to teach in classroom environments and have helped many children not only discover a new language but also explore and appreciate different cultures.

2008
The Lingo Club came to effect as a small and humble business, a platform to help, encourage and inspire individuals to learn a second, third and fourth language so they can expand their world. By collaborating with 3 schools and forming a positive partnership with 2 educational organisations. Being multilingual myself, I know that learning a new language is challenging and requires lots of practice, patience and dedication.

2010
The Lingo Club expanded from only me to recruiting, training and mentoring 6 other passionate instructors and employed an admin person to manage the increased workload. we expanded from 3 schools to 14. Our passion, empathy and dedication start to pay off.

2013
Coding became the new language among kids and educators, however, a federal or state coding curriculum didn’t exist in schools. We took the initiative to create a platform to fill the gap in teaching kids a crucial skill (coding) to help them with their future.

To keep up with this ever-changing digital tsunami, we expanded our digital repertoire to include Robotics. Due to demand and word of mouth, we also expanded our business from state to national. This also gave me the opportunity to leave my teaching position and concentrate on The Lingo Club full time.

2019
Our success attracted the attention of few players in the field. We were approached by one of the biggest providers in the country and we sold the Australian coding & robotics section of The Lingo Club, with a condition that I manage the Victorian branch.

Coronavirus hit the world and we had to think outside the box and moved all our program online teaching kids remotely through Zoom. I had the time to start researching opportunities to expand globally with the initial focus to be on my hometown Fes/Morocco as this has a special place in my heart. Talking to few friends and people in the education arena, they encourage me to invest and help the struggling education system by offering a current subject that the whole world is investing in as the future.
